GEOSKIN

GeoSkin® Straw & Cotton Plant Hydromulch is designed especially for erosion protection and vegetation establishment on mild to moderate slopes, 4:1 to 3:1. It is manufactured within a set of quality guidelines established only after several years of product development and testing were completed. Extreme care is taken to oversee the growth of the raw materials, the processing, packaging and shipping as well as the research and development of this and other landscaping materials made with reclaimed cotton plant material. By nature, cotton plant materials provide for porosity and are absorbent and biodegradable, an unaltered, near-perfect component for hydromulch. A patent-pending blend of straw, cotton plant materials, additives and tackifiers are combined to make GeoSkin® Straw & Cotton Plant Hydromulch not only strong, but earth-loving and easy to apply. GeoSkin has not only demonstrated excellent results in seed establishment, but is non-toxic and will not harm wildlife, fish or water quality.

HYDRACM™

HydraCM™ Steep Slope Matrix™ is a high-performance hydraulic mulch designed especially for medium-length, moderate to steep slopes, 4:1 to 3:1.

HydraCM Steep Slope Matrix is hydraulically applied mulch composed of a blend of mechanically processed straw fibers, reclaimed cotton plant materials, performance enhancing tackifiers, and other proprietary additives. The HydraCM matrix is designed for soil erosion protection and establishes an intimate bond upon application with the soil’s surface to create a continuous, porous, absorbent, and flexible erosion control matrix that allows for rapid germination and accelerated plant growth.

HYDRACX2

HydraCX2 Extreme Slope Matrix is high performance hydraulic mulch designed especially for steep to severe slopes, 2:1 to 1:1.

HydraCX2 Extreme Slope Matrix is hydraulically applied mulch composed of a blend of mechanically processed straw fibers, reclaimed cotton plant materials, performance enhancing tackifiers, and other proprietary additives. The HydraCX2 matrix requires no curing for soil erosion protection, and establishes and intimate bond upon application with the soil’s surface to create a continuous, porous, absorbent, and flexible erosion control matrix that allows for rapid germination and accelerated plant growth.

MULCH AND TACKIFIER

Specialty’s hydraulic erosion control products (HECPs) are designed to control erosion and aid in vegetation establishment on a range of slope conditions. Because of their one-step hydraulic application, our HECPs can be used to offer high-performing erosion control that is a low-cost, low-labor alternative to other forms of erosion control.

Our mulches are both made with a proprietary blend of straw, reclaimed cotton plant material, and tackifiers. The patent-pending blend of straw and cotton plant material assists the mulch in providing a honeycomb layer of protection over the soil to promote excellent vegetation establishment. Additionally, a patent-pending blend of additives and tackifiers combine to ease application, enhance adhesion, retain moisture and provide soil stability.
